Supporting the Minnesota Naturalists' Association

MNA is a professional organization supporting natural history and cultural interpreters across Minnesota. In doing so, MNA work makes for a better quality of life for Minnesota residents and our visitors. Help us help those that we support--the naturalists that interpret Minnesota resources.

All donations go to MNA, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, and are tax deductible to their fullest extent possible.

Thank you in advance for your support. You can take pride in the knowledge that your donation will assist students, our future, and the advancement of environmental education; helping to make Minnesota and the Earth a better place to live.

There are three ways to contribute:

Sponsor an MNA Event
Scholarship Fund
Environmental Stewardship Fund

  • Donating an item to be given away as a door prize at any event. Door prize items will be given away at the event closing and will be prominently displayed in the main event gathering place.

Donors will be acknowledged on all event promotional materials, through the MNA newsletter, the event program materials, and on the MNA web site. Examples of suitable donation items include binoculars, gift certificates, trips, photo equipment, gift baskets, educational materials, books, art, event passes, art work, recreational equipment, and lodging.

Scholarship Fund

The fund assists individuals wanting to attend a MNA workshop or conference who otherwise might not be able to afford the costs, such as entry level interpreters, students studying interpretation, and volunteers. We hope the use of the fund may increase the membership base in MNA by revealing the value of the workshop/conference to those that may not have attended due to lack of financial resources.

To make a financial contribution to this fund, please contact (to be announced).

Environmental Stewardship Fund

The Environmental Stewardship Fund provides MNA members small grants to fund research and other projects. This opportunity allows MNA members to tap into a small source of funds that encourages environmental involvement and action.

To make a financial contribution to this fund, please contact (to be announced).
